At Mercure Newport we pride ourselves in establishing strong roots at the beginning of any employee’s journey with us.

From your Induction, E-learning modules and through to your department training and beyond, we have Team Coaches to support and guide you through your first few weeks as you begin to find your feet as part of the hotel team.

We support each other at all levels... we work together as one team, taking pride in marginal gains to become better every day.

As we are a newly opened hotel, we are learning and growing alongside the hotel as the business gains momentum. We think of our guests in very step we take, with fantastic customer service at the forefront of what we do.

At Mercure Newport we are passionate about delivering great service for our guests, ensuring all guests have a comfortable stay in high quality surroundings with views spread wide and far across Newport.

For team members who are equally passionate in setting high standards for our guests, who wish to learn and develop themselves, we offer lots of opportunity for progression. It may be internally within a Team Coach, Supervisory or Management role, or there are even opportunities to progress as part of the Aimbridge team.

We offer hospitality and chef apprenticeships as well as training courses to support anyone who wishes to develop within the Hospitality sector.
